Ingredients
- 200 g linguine
- 160 g tinned tuna in oil, drained
- 25 g capers, rinsed
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- a handful of parsley, chopped
Method
Boil the pasta
Cook the linguine in well-salted water until al dente.

Warm the oil with the garlic and chilli until fragrant but not coloured.
2 minBuild the sauce
Add the tomatoes and capers and cook until the tomatoes slump, then flake in the tuna. Keep the flakes large — stirred to a paste it turns the dish grey and dull.
5 minFinish
Toss through the drained pasta with a splash of its water, then the lemon zest, juice and parsley off the heat.
